  1. The Cincinnati Police Department has arrested the 17-year-old driver that struck two UC students and fled from the scene last week. Cayden Turner was killed during the incident on Jefferson Avenue, while Namiya Russell was seriously injured. Excessive speed was determined to be a factor in the crash; the department's traffic unit is working to conclude if impairment was also a factor. (WHIO)
  2. The Cincinnati NAACP's 2022 Freedom Fund gala was held on Saturday night. The event presented numerous awards to individuals and organizations that have made a profound impact in the Cincinnati community.
