Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. A section of Cincinnati spent Tuesday under a boil water advisory after a water main break. The advisory ended at 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 7. Although officials stated that it was a precautionary advisory, those affected were urged to follow it. The main break happened near Central Parkway in Over-the-Rhine. The advisory extended along a section of the Interstate 75 corridor. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
  2. A new neighborhood bar in College Hill will serve up both adult beverages and ice cream treats. Big Chill will open its doors on Dec. 16 at its location on Hamilton Ave. Big Chill has a cocktail menu, beer and wine, and a small seasonal menu — but the ice cream is what sets it apart. The bar will proudly boast a window to grab soft-serve ice cream during the spring and summer months. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  3. On Dec. 10, Cincinnati Santacon returns to the city from noon to midnight. Over 10,000 Santas will dominate the downtown, bar-hopping around the city while decked out as Saint Nick. The 12-hour event is expected to include more than 50 bars, which will offer drink specials to participants. Merrymakers will sing and frolic in the streets as they go through the bar crawl, spreading Christmas cheer along the way. Register here. (WLWT Cincinnati)
