Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's Proton Therapy Center has conducted the world's first clinical trial for an experimental cancer treatment that delivers radiation therapy in less than one second. The study's findings were published on Monday in JAMA Oncology and presented to the American Society for Radiation Oncology on Sunday. John Breneman, MD led the study. (Cincinnati Children's)
  2. Local Author Peter Bronson is examining Cincinnati's organized crime past in his new book. His new book is titled "Not in Our Town." It takes a deep dive into the Tri-State area's criminal past involving mobs. The book is available for purchase through Amazon at this link. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  3. The Cincinnati Police Department reports one individual was injured during a Sunday overnight shooting. The victim was brought to Good Samaritan Hospital after the shooting. The incident occurred on Calhoun Street near the University of Cincinnati. It is currently unclear what led to the incident. (WLWT Cincinnati)
