City Saving Money Through Joint Dispatch Center
The Cleveland Heights Fire Department is saving nearly 50 percent.

By teaming up with University Heights and Shaker Heights with a joint fire dispatch center, Cleveland Heights has found significant savings, according to the Plain Dealer.
βWe spend about $400,000 a year, but thatβs a 50-percent savings for us,βΒ Eddie Carter, an assistant in the Cleveland Heights city managerβs office, told the Plain Dealer.
