Teens Stole Woman's Car Keys At Cleveland Heights Gas Station: PD
A 16-year-old and a 14-year-old are now accused of robbing a woman in Cleveland Heights, police announced.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Two teenagers robbed a woman at the Marathon Gas Station on Mayfield Road on Sunday, Cleveland Heights Police announced.
At 2 p.m., 911 callers reported a robbery at the business. A 21-year-old woman said she was inside the station when someone grabbed her car keys out of her coat pocket, police said.
The woman tried to stop the thief, but he snagged the keys and ran outside. The woman chased after him and saw him throw the keys to a second person, police said.

The key thieves outran the woman and she lost sight of them on Coventry Road, police added. The woman was not hurt during the incident, Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg told Patch.
At approximately 4 p.m., a Cleveland Heights police officer saw two teenagers matching the woman's description of the key thieves. The two teenagers spotted the officer and took off running, police said. However, with the help of a K9 tracking unit, officers were able to locate both teens and take them into custody.

One suspect is 16 and the other is 14, police said. The 16-year-old was later turned over to his mother, while the 14-year-old was taken to a Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Home after officers discovered he had a warrant for aggravated robbery.
Both teenagers will face charges of robbery, police said.
