COLUMBUS, OH — A one-year-old girl was shot while she was sleeping in her Columbus home early Saturday morning, according to a report from KWBN-TV.
Police said the child was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, according to the report.
The shooting occurred on the 500 block of Reinhard Avenue, and the bullet came through the wall and traveled through the mattress before hitting the child in her lower back. The girl was sleeping between her parents, according to the report.
