Ohio Connections Academy Recognizes Columbus Student

COLUMBUS, OH – Paije Williams, of Columbus, was recently named one of Ohio Connections Academy’s (OCA) Star Students of the Month for May in recognition of her hard work and leadership in the online classroom.

Paije, a second grader at the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Stults, because of her hard work and thoughtfulness towards others in class.

As a Star Student, Paije will be presented a certificate recognizing her achievement and be profiled in Ohio Connections Academy’s student newsletter and on the school’s social media platforms. Each month during the school year OCA will recognize students in grades K through 12 who are excelling in the virtual classroom.

Paije has been attending Ohio Connections Academy since she entered kindergarten in 2019 because, according to her mother, Tre’, they loved the individualized approach and the curriculum the school offered.

“My child is super intelligent and excelling beyond measures,” Tre’ said. “This has been Paije's only elementary school experience. We love the flexibility and the creative curriculum that allows for enrichment.”
