Caught! 'Fugitive of the Week' Nabbed in Cleveland
Tip to U.S. Marshal's office led to Roy Young's arrest.

TheΒ Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Forceβs βFugitive of the Week"Β was arrested in Cleveland on Tuesday, U. S. Marshal Peter J. Elliot confirmed.
Roy Young Jr. was caught just after 1 p.m. on Dec. 11, one day after being named Fugitive of the Week.
Young was initially believed to be hiding in Lorain County.

βWe grabbed him this afternoon,β Elliot, of the Northern District of Ohio Marshal's office, said. βWe caught him in the 3400 block near W. 120 in Cleveland.β
Elliot said it was a hotline tip that led to Youngβs arrest.

βWe arrested him there,β Elliot said. βHe was not armed.β
Elliot said Young was alone when arrested. He expected Young would first be held in Cleveland and then transferred to Lorain County, where he was wanted by the Lorain County Sherrif's Office.
Numerous media sources, including Cuyahoga Falls Patch, published the Fugitive of the Week.
βWe continue to ask for our tips through the hotline,β Elliot said.

Young was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lorain County Sheriffβs Office for rape, sexual assault and gross sexual imposition. He's been accused of continually raping and sexually assaulting a young child for the last 10 years.
Young spokeΒ with the Chronicle-Telegram newspaper in October, saying the rape allegations "were false and filed by (wife) Sherry Young during a domestic argument."Β
In that article, Young also accused Sherry Young of setting him up on the rape allegations.
