• County to move transformer (xeniagazette.com) — Expect rolling road closures in Fairborn on Thursday, Dec. 11, as a 235,500‑pound electric transformer is moved from the Fairborn Railroad site on East Xenia Drive to an AES substation on Dayton-Xenia Road. Law enforcement will escort the slow-moving load along several major streets, and it may pause near Trebein Elementary and Jacob Coy Middle School if it conflicts with dismissal times.
