• American Red Cross calls for blood donations amid holiday season (mountvernonnews.com) — Gambier residents can donate blood close to home on December 10 at Kenyon College, as the Red Cross urges donations to meet holiday demand. Additional drives are scheduled throughout Knox and Licking counties all month, with special thank-you gifts on select dates. Eligible donors and volunteers are encouraged to sign up online or by phone.

• Imperati named Kenyon's Director of Athletics (wmvo.com) — Kenyon College in Gambier has hired Jason Imperati as its next director of athletics, fitness, and recreation, with his tenure beginning June 1, 2026. Imperati brings experience leading major facility upgrades and new sports programs at Lawrence University, and campus leaders say his student-centered, relationship-focused approach will guide Kenyon’s 23 varsity sports and more than 50 coaches and staff.
