5 Things to Know on Election Day

Today is Election Day 2011

Aside from our comprehensive , there are a few things to know before heading out to cast your vote today.

  1. Polls open today at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
  2. There are 21 polling locations in Kent. Click on the .pdf attached to this article to find out where you cast your vote.
  3. Only one race in Kent is contested: Kent City Council .
  4. You must bring ID that shows your name and address, but military IDs don't need to show address. Any other government document showing your name and address — such as a current utility or tuition bill — is acceptable.
