• Partnership will bring Bio-Med STEM school to Kent State campus (record-courier.com) — Kent residents will see Kent State’s Michael Schwartz Center transformed into a new K–6 home for Bio-Med Science Academy starting in fall 2027, consolidating its Shalersville and Ravenna campuses. The move keeps ROTC in place, saves Kent State major maintenance costs, and brings hundreds of younger STEM students and staff into the city, deepening ties between the university and regional public schools.
