Capstone Offers Lease Extension to Those Still Searching for Home
Capstone Development commits to helping Silver Oaks residents find new homes

More than 200 of the 250 residents at have found a new place to live, which leaves about 40 people still searching for somewhere to call home.

The company released a statement Tuesday saying "While Capstone still does not own or manage Silver Oaks Place, we will gladly attempt to coordinate with the current owner regarding a lease extension beyond Sept. 30."
"There's been a lot of press about some people not being able to move out by Oct. 1," said Capstone spokesman Alton Irwin. "We want to be as accommodating and fair as possible with those people and treat them with respect and dignity."

Residents interested in signing a lease extension can meet with a Capstone representative on site on Sept. 7.
