Kent Yard Waste Transfer Site Closed

The City of Kent's Yard Waste Transfer Site is closed until further notice due to maximum capacity of the site and illegal dumping.

The City is currently working with its contractor to schedule the processing of the yard waste that has been dropped off at the site. Prior to the contractor being able to process the yard waste City crews will need to remove building materials that have been illegally dumped at the site. Residents are reminded that yard waste includes brush, grass, leaves, weeds, etc. not construction materials, lumber or trash of any kind.
