• Governor DeWine Announces Science of Reading Audit Results for Ohio Colleges and Universities (ohio.gov) — Kent residents should know Kent State University earned an “In Alignment” rating in Ohio’s new Science of Reading audit of teacher training programs, meeting nearly all required metrics and avoiding banned methods. Statewide, 33 institutions fully aligned, five partially aligned, and 10 flagged for violations must fix issues within a year or risk losing program approval.
