Non-Union City Employees may get Same Pay Raises as Union Workers

No pay raise for 2012; pay increases of 1 and 2 percent expected in following 2 years

If approved by , non-union city employees will see the same pay rate increases during the next three years as the city's union employees.

Council will consider tonight the general compensation plan for city employees who work in positions that aren't members in one of Kent's six public employee unions. The positions include department heads and other staff but not the city manager, who last year in light of .
