Police Deploy Spike Strips to End Car Chase
Suspect reportedly robbed Stow home, fled to Kent then fled Kent police

Kent Police officers were forced to end a car chase Saturday by deploying spike strips at the intersection of routes 43 and 261 in Kent, stopping a 28-year-old woman who reportedly broke into a Stow home.
According to Stow Police, Jamie White, of Stow, broke into a North Stantom Road home and was confronted by the homeowner. White and the homeowner struggled and she threatened to shoot the victim, police said.
White then fled in the homeowner's 2008 Toyota Prius, said police.

A few hours later, Kent Police were notified that White might be in the area, and she was spotted pulling out of the , going south on 43 toward Interstate 76. She then turned around and began coming back north on 43 where police deployed the spikes, Kent Police said.
Kent Police charged her with receiving stolen property for stealing the victim's wallet and car, fleeing and eluding police and failure to comply.

Stow Police have a warrant for her arrest on felony charges of grand theft auto and aggravated burglary.
According to Portage County Court documents, she pleaded not guilty to the Kent Police charges on July 25.
