Firefighters bicycling from California to New York City leave Kent for Pittsburgh Wednesday
The California firefighters who are riding to New York City to honor the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks stopped in Kent this afternoon and were welcomed by a big crowd.
The firefighters, riding under the "Ride for 9-11" banner, are staying at the tonight and leave for Pittsburgh in the morning to continue their 3,300-mile journey.
