The Lakewood Department of Aging is seeking volunteers to provide companionship and support to isolated older people to help them keep their independence, ability to cope, and positive self esteem.
Friendly Visits are generally made as arranged with the volunteer and social worker. Phone calls provide a safety check to ensure the senior's well being.
