• Lakewood City Council seeks applicants for Ward 4 vacancy (cleveland.com) — Lakewood residents in Ward 4 have a chance to apply for the soon-to-be-vacant City Council seat created by Cindy Marx’s Jan. 1 resignation, with applications due Jan. 2. Applicants must be Lakewood residents, registered voters, and live in Ward 4, where council will publicly interview finalists before making an appointment through 2027.
