Arts Treasures Opens At The Beck Center
An exhibition of handcrafted local art is now on display at the Beck Center for the Arts.

LAKEWOOD, OH β A visual arts gallery is now being displayed at the Beck Center for the Arts.
βArt Treasurers is an annual visual treat for the community! The artistically varied artists share their talents in a gallery exhibition while providing creative pieces available for purchase β from t-shirts and amazing watercolor works to wearable art and pottery. This show features the best of our areaβs creatives," said Ed Gallagher, director of Education for the Beck Center.
Art Treasures 2021 will feature the work of local artists. It is free and open to the public during business hours, performances and classes.

Danielle Dore is a local artist who works in both 2D and ceramics. She is a visual arts teacher and pottery manager at the Beck Center.
Linda Merchant Pearce is a Northeast Ohioan who is both an educator and gallery coordinator at the Beck Center. Linda's award-winning work can be seen in her Etsy store.
Patricia Sigmier won the prestigious North Coast Award 2005 from the Ohio Watercolor Society. She studied art and architecture at Saint Mary's College and has 20 years of experience as a professional art instructor.
Ryan Finley is a Cleveland-based freelance artist who does hand-drawn art. He is also a sketch card artist for Topps, Upper Deck and Dynamite. He and his daughter, Keira, will present Side by Side: The Art of Ryan and Keira Finley in the Bulicek Gallery at the Beck Center.
Jennifer Fitchwell works at American Greetings. Similarly, Cassie Lynch is a local artist and creator of greeting cards.
Julie Schabel is a local artist who keeps studio space at the Screw Factory and is an educator at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She will present a solo art exhibition in the Beck Center's Center for Music and Creative Arts Therapies Building from January through March 2022.
Finally, Jennifer Whitehead is a poet and illustrator for childrenβs book stories and poems.
These handcrafted works will be available for purchase at Customer Service at Beck Center for the Arts located at 17801 Detroit Avenue.
