Barstool Sports Reviews Angelo's Pizza

LAKEWOOD, OH — Barstool Sports offered a video review of Angelo's Pizza this week.

Barstool's Dave Portnoy was in town for the Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley fight in Cleveland and stopped by Angelo's to review the pizza. The deep dish got a 6.8 out of 10, while the original got a 7.1. Both pizzas were too thick for Portnoy, but he praised the pies nonetheless.

"They should be called the less thick and the thick," he said, before adding that both pizzas were "heavy." He admitted he preferred a thinner cut.

"If the deeper, thicker, more floppy style is your jam, give Angelo's a shot," Portnoy said.

He also praised Angelo's T-shirt, which he called "fire," and said Lakewood High's football stadium looked like the kind of place where great football is played on Friday nights. In 2021, he's actually right, with the Rangers sitting at a sterling 4-0 after beating crosstown rival Rocky River.
