- Keep Lakewood Beautiful has announced the winners of this year's Beautiful Home Awards Contest. The initiative is meant to celebrate local homes with eye-popping landscaping and well-maintained property. Seven households were awarded the honor this year. - Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor James Gutierrez reports that two individuals accused of placing thousands of robocalls with false election information have agreed to pay the maximum fine amount as part of their plea deal. The county's prosecutors have agreed to dismiss all 14 counts of telecommunications and bribery if Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman pay the $2,500 fine. The two were responsible for Project 1599's 3,500 robocalls. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- The Lakewood Fire Department will be hosting a car seat safety check on Nov. 13 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Fire Station #1 in Madison. This is a free event that is open to all Lakewood families.
