Chocolate Walk Postponed In Lakewood This Year
The popular Lakewood Chocolate Walk will be delayed until at least spring 2022 due to COVID-19.
LAKEWOOD, OH — The popular Lakewood Chocolate Walk has been postponed until spring 2022.
With the COVID-19 pandemic raging, LakewoodAlive and the Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance shifted the dates of the Chocolate Walk. They described the decision as "difficult."
"Due to the ever changing Coronavirus pandemic, we believe that postponing this event is the best decision for the health and safety of our community," the groups said in a statement.

"As president of the Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance, the safety of our Chocolate Walk guests remains our utmost concern. We feel that postponing this annual event to spring 2022 will allow us to go back to a joyous, fun filled evening for our guests and merchants,” said David Stein, owner of Avenue Home.
