  1. According to inspectors, prices at the register and on the shelf often don’t match at Dollar General and Family Dollar stores in Cuyahoga County. Since 2021, the stores mentioned above in Cuyahoga County have failed inspections more than 50 times. The inspection reports show that most items with price discrepancies were anywhere from five cents to a dollar more expensive at the register than the price listed on the shelf.   2. Lakewood's St. Edward High School basketball team, the No. 1-ranked team in the Cleveland.com boys basketball top 25, had its first loss of the season on Feb. 3. No. 10 St. Ignatius (12-6) won 53-50 against No. 1 St. Edward (15-1). (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
  3. "Whole Brain Living: Exploring Spiritual States of Mind," hosted by Centering Space in Lakewood, will be held today, Feb. 6, and Feb. 13 via Zoom. Participants will join Jill Bolte Taylor, a neuroanatomist, and facilitator Mike Reiling in a study of brain functioning and how to realize more spiritual states of mind.
