- On Dec. 6, the Greater Cleveland Congregations called for juvenile justice reform in Cuyahoga County. The event, "Justice for Our Children: End Abuse of Discretionary Bindover in Cuyahoga County," focused on the county’s high rate of bindover, the impact on individuals and public safety, and what can be done to fix it. - This Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., is the Holiday Food Drive at Fire Station No. 1, located at 14601 Madison Ave. The Lakewood Fire Department and Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corporation will be collecting canned goods for families in need. Volunteers are needed to sort, bag, and distribute items to families in need on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 at the Lakewood Masonic Temple, located at 15600 Detroit Ave. (City of Lakewood, Ohio - Municipal Government)
- Many Lakewood St. Edward High School football players were named to the 2022 Division I OPSWA All-Ohio Football Teams.
