  1. Gianni Gray Jr., who was featured on Cleveland 19's Cuyahoga's Most Wanted list last week, was captured and arraigned yesterday. Gray was wanted for a drug investigation in Lakewood in 2022, as well as shooting an employee at a Little Caesars pizza shop in Cleveland in an armed robbery attempt in 2019. He is being held on a $500,000 bond for the armed robbery and a $10,000 bond for the drug case. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. Doki Doki Kawaii Shop is adding feminine flair and a touch of nerdiness to Lakewood's Madison Avenue. The store promotes a safe space for women in anime — an often male-dominated fandom — and staples like comics and games. Owner Ami Rizek said, "I connected with some of the shop owners along Madison Avenue and we all have a nice little camaraderie together where we support each other." (Clevelandmagazine.com)
  3. Jacqueline Bon has been promoted to LakewoodAlive's communications and design manager. Bon has been working with the organization since August 2020 as a marketing and development coordinator, helping to tell LakewoodAlive's story and promote its brand. The organization wrote on its Facebook page, "We are thankful for the impressive work that Jacqueline contributes to the organization on a daily basis." (LakewoodAlive via Facebook)
