- The Lakewood Police Department said a "spree of vandalism" happened overnight between Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16. There was roughly a dozen reports of car windows being broken out. The streets where the cars were vandalized include Wyandotte Avenue, Parkway Drive, and Lewis Drive. As of Oct. 17, no suspects have been identified. (Cleveland 19 News)
- Lakewood City Schools Superintendent Maggie Niedzwiecki will host the next "Listen & Learn" session today, Oct. 18, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ranger Café at Lakewood High School. Niedzwiecki said she listens to the thoughts and concerns of the district at the session. She also discusses "some of the gains we're making educationally to our community members." (Cleveland.com)
