Family Dollar Opening Delayed

Although, the construction of the new Family Dollar started long before its neighbor, Discount Drug Mart, the former still hasn't opened. 

It looks as if the store’s almost ready: The building and parking lot are completed, and the lights are on. 

But there’s no inventory yet. And city officials say there are still a few details that need ironed out before Family Dollar can open. Chief among them are landscaping, design details — including handrails — and tree placement.

It could be several weeks before the store opens.
