Fear's Confections Celebrates 2 Years In Lakewood

Fear's Confections will celebrate their 2nd Lakewood "Birthaversary" with an all-day scavenger hunt, crafts, vendors, prizes, and more!

LAKEWOOD, OH — If you're looking for unique and delicious brownies and chocolates with fun themes such as Doctor Who, Star Wars or even Donald Trump — Fear's Confections in Lakewood is the place to go.

It's hard to believe that the shop has been at 15208 Madison Ave. in Lakewood for two years already and owner Cassandra Fear acknowledges that time has flown by.

When launching my home business nearly 6.5 years ago, people would ask me, "If you could open a storefront in the area, where would it be?" I would always tell them Lakewood, because of the walkability and the tight-knit community. I honestly never thought that 4.5 years later I'd be celebrating my grand opening, and that now we are just weeks away from celebrating 2 years in our Madison Avenue storefront.

Fear's 2nd Lakewood "Birthaversary" celebration will be on Saturday, October 1st, starting at 11am. An all-day scavenger hunt across neighboring businesses will offer chances to win an amazing raffle basket with goodies from local businesses.

From 1-3 p.m. Balloon Bender Dave will be twisting up amazing balloon creatures for kids of all ages and the Cleveland Craft Coalition, along with some other local businesses and artists will be setting up a "spooky-themed" vendor market inside both Fear's Confections and Ice Cream Joy as well as in our back lot from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

These events will be taking place rain or shine, so Fear's encourages everyone to come out and celebrate with them, grab some sweets, have some fun, and support local!
