Halloween Trick-or-Treat Time Set For Lakewood

The city announced the official date and time for this year's trick-or-treat.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood's citywide trick-or-treat will be held Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The city announced the date and time for its annual trick-or-treat festivities this week.

Last year, trick-or-treating was allowed as long as children wore masks while going door to door. Parents were also encouraged to limit how many houses their children visited.

  • Drivers should be cautious when motoring around at night. Children will frequently dart into the street without warning, so move slowly through the city and keep your lights on. Be prepared to stop in a moment.
  • Residents should remind children to not run into the street and to walk from house-to-house.
  • Parents should tell their kids to be careful while trick-or-treating. If parents are accompanying children, carry a flashlight.
