How Healthy Is Lakewood? New Assessment Aims To Find Out
Several Lakewood-based organizations are working together to develop an action plan that will make Lakewood healthier.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The health of Lakewood residents will be the focus of an upcoming assessment.
The city of Lakewood, Healthy Lakewood Foundation and Three Arches Foundation are trying to identify the city's current health and wellness issues. Health-related data will be gathered as part of the survey, and residents will be able to participate in surveys, focus groups and other interactive sessions to share their insight.
Once the assessment is completed, The Center for Community Solutions will analyze the collected data and provide a breakdown of Lakewood's current health status. An action plan will then be developed to sustain the city's strengths, address its gaps and break down its barriers to wellness, the city said. An action plan should be developed in 2022.
