Identity Revealed Of Woman Pulled From Lake Erie

CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner on Monday identified the body of a woman pulled from Lake Erie last week.

Sunny Kruzel, 53, from Cleveland, was pulled from the waters of Lake Erie on Feb. 8, the medical examiner said. Her body was found near the ice off Edgewater Park pier.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Cleveland Police, and the Cleveland Metroparks coordinated to pull Kruzel's body from the water.

The cause of Kruzel's death was not released Monday. Investigation into the death is ongoing, Cleveland police said.
