  1. A Cuyahoga County jury found 43-year-old Chawn Cloyd not guilty on all charges for allegedly attacking a Lakewood store employee last February. The employee told police that Cloyd attacked him with a machete-style knife at Moon’s Food Store while he was escorting the possible shoplifter out of the store. The employee suffered a three to four-inch cut on his face. (Cleveland 19)
  2. The City of Lakewood would like community members to complete an ADA Survey questionnaire on city facilities and programs. Lakewood is conducting a self-evaluation to find out the accessibility level of all city facilities and programs. The city is also working with an accessibility consultant to help evaluate and create a plan to make all facilities and programs fully accessible. Click here to take the survey.   3. Lakewood St. Edward was voted number one for Division 1 in the boys Associated Press Ohio high school basketball polls of the 2022-2023 season. The team has a win-loss record of 13-0. (CantonRep.com)
