Lakewood City Council Primary: Live Results

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood voters will help narrow the field of candidates running for at-large city council seats on Tuesday.

With eight candidates running for at-large positions, a primary was required to select candidates for the Nov. 2 general election. Only four candidates will appear on ballots then, with three seats up for grabs.

The candidates competing in the primary are: Kyle G. Baker, Tom Bullock, Keith Davey, Sarah Kepple, Tristan Rader, Laura Rodriguez-Carbone, Mark A. Schneider, and Susannah Selnick.

Patch will monitor election results as they are announced Tuesday evening. This story will be updated as votes are tallied.

Bullock, Rader and Kepple are all incumbents. Everyone else is a challenger.

We'll also be watching a primary election for the city's municipal judge opening. The three candidates competing in that race are: Sara Fagnilli, Tess Neff, Brian M. Taubman. The top two vote getters will appear in the Nov. 2 general election.

Of Lakewood's 37,178 registered voters, only 135 requested early in-person ballots, though all such ballots have now been returned for counting, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
