Lakewood Football Rangers Class Of '76-'77 To Huddle-Up Again At O'Toole's On Saturday
The #LHSWatchParty event is open to all Lakewood players, band members, family, friends and fans!

LAKEWOOD, OH β In 1975, the Lakewood Rangers were Lake Erie League champions, losing only once to hometown rivals, the St. Edward Eagles. The Rangers were a tight-knit group that year and many strong friendships were forged and memories were made.
This Saturday, the team will be gathering at O'Toole's Pub at 13601 Detroit Rd. in Lakewood to reminisce and relive some of those memories. Dan Morgan, Lakewood citizen and long-snapping specialist for the championship team has been planning this reunion for over a year.
Morgan told Patch that he "timed the screening to coincide with Class of '77's 40th reunion, the juniors from that championship year. I would have done it last year but I wanted to take the time to do it right."

Morgan and other alums have been collecting programs, awards, scrapbooks, news clippings and more to prepare for Saturday's reunion. A variety a Ranger memorabilia will be on display also, including an original jersey, worn by team captain, Jim Maxwell, who also played a crucial role in coordinating the #LHSWatchParty.
Mike Strahine, the undisputed team star is expected to be there and the former head coach Angelo Privitera is expected to be present with his daughter.

Morgan, and a few other alums created a video compilation of the September 5, 1975 Lakewood vs St. Edward football game. The complete game film was uncovered by Jim Maxwell and will be shown at Saturday's #LHSWatchParty. A trailer for the film can be viewed below:
It was hard to miss Morgan's enthusiasm for the upcoming #LHSWatchParty while he was describing what is planned for Saturday.
Players, Cheerleaders, Marching Band, Golden Girls and Fans are all welcome, however, Morgan added, "Eds people are not really welcome, ha ha ha, but I know at least one who is coming!"
