  1. Lakewood High cross country runners Charlie Payne and Luka Bork competed in the Division 1 State Champion Meet on Nov. 5. Bork finished 12th overall with a time of 15:27, earning himself All-Ohio status in the process. Payne performed admirably as well, placing 46th out of a field of 180. A week earlier, Bork placed fourth at Regionals, and Payne finished 28th. (The Lakewood Observer)

  3. Construction material maker CertainTeed has relocated its Lakewood plant to nearby Strongsville. The company, which has over 150 locations in Canada and the United States, moved to its current facility on Commerce Parkway back in 2019. However, the location could not accommodate the planned growth of the company. The Strongsville location will provide added manufacturing, storage, and warehouse space. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
