Lakewood High School Sophomore Class to Hold Easter Seals Fill the Truck Fundraiser Dec. 10

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood High's Class of 2019 will be hosting a fundraiser with Easter Seals for the sophomore class.

An Easter Seals truck will be in the North Lot on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Donations of clothing as well as housewares, personal accessories, shoes, purses, books, and toys will be collected. Furniture, stuffed animals, pillows, construction material, or food will not be accepted.

For every pound of clothing donated, Easter Seals will donate 20 cents to the sophomore class and for every pound of everything else like housewares, Easter Seals will donate 5 cents.

The clothing and all items need to be bagged or boxed. Clothing should not be packaged with the other items since a different amount of money is given for the weight of the clothing.

The students will also be collecting donations in boxes outside of the LHS lunchroom as well from Dec. 5-9.
