- The City of Lakewood announced that speed tables will be installed on Clarence Avenue between Detroit Avenue and Franklin Boulevard this week. It is part of the city's Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program. The city and local residents will use the program to study and address speeding on their block. Click here for more information. - The City of Lakewood encourages residents to participate in the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Action Plan online on Nov. 12. - Gray House Pies will return to Lakewood, along with Pizza Vendetta and U.K. Pies & Fries! Joe Schlott says he and his wife, Darlene, regret leaving the city and the locals: "Lakewood is where everybody goes for great food these days. Lakewood is where we want to be." Gray House Pies will be located at 18103 Detroit Avenue, Pizza Vendetta at 14201 Madison Ave., and U.K. Pies & Fries will be around the corner with a Brown Avenue walk-up window.
