- Yesterday, Dec. 12, the Division of Streets began round four of Lakewood's leaf collection. The City asked residents not to rake leaves into the streets. Click here for Lakewood's leaf collection map and daily updates. (City of Lakewood via Twitter)
- A Lakewood home baker has made a name for herself with nostalgic breakfast pastries called "Hott Tarts." Hott Tart's founder and CEO, Michelle Doyle, said it started out as a hobby, but the pastries have become very popular. According to Doyle, her top three sellers are Warm Brown Sugar, Nutella, and Raspberry Delight. (News 5 Cleveland WEWS)
- On Saturday, Dec. 10, Lakewood High School won three weight classes and finished third out of 16 teams at the Lakewood Classic. Lakewood senior Josh Taylor won the 165-pound title, Lakewood senior Corey Rafferty won the 126-pound title, and Senior Antonio Stefani won the 106-pound title. (The Newark Advocate)
