- A 25-year-old Lakewood man was shot on Friday night, Nov. 11, after meeting up with woman he met online at the 4200 block of Grannis Road in Fairview Park. The Lakewood man drove himself to the emergency room with a non-life threatening gunshot wound in the back after an unsuccessful carjacking attempt by the woman and an unknown male accomplice. Police believe the suspects are residents of Fairview Park and are confident that the recovered evidence will lead to their identification. (Cleveland 19 News)
- There is a new celestial mural on the wall outside Corky's Place on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood. Local artist Aaron Casey Jr. has been a regular at the popular Lakewood karaoke bar since 2019.
