Here are the top three stories today in Lakewood:

1. Lakewood police arrested a 24-year-old Cleveland man for attempting to sell items stolen from a Game Stop. On Jan. 29, the man came into the Game Stop store, 16657 Chagrin Blvd., as a Door Dash driver and stole $459.97 worth of video equipment. Immediately after leaving the Game Stop, the suspect tried to sell the stolen video equipment to a store in Lakewood. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
2. Cleveland Curiosities, an antiques and oddity shop, plans to expand into Lakewood. Co-owner Clement Kunkle recently bought a building located at 13375 Madison Ave. in Lakewood, with six apartment units above a storefront, for $400,000. In a Facebook post, Cleveland Curiosities denied rumors that the six apartments would be turned into a Harry Potter-themed Airbnb. (Subscription: Biz Journals)
3. In September, entrepreneur Sam Freidman opened City Goods in seven hangar-like buildings at the corner of West 28th Street and Church Avenue in Cleveland. At City Goods, local small business owners rent space in the hangars without worrying about staffing, insurance, taxes, or other expenses that keep most business owners from having a brick-and-mortar store. Lakewood artist Beth Keenan, the owner of Funktini Land, recently rented all of Hangar 3 to expand her business. Keenan said, "The amount of the community that has come out, even in bad weather, and come through and enjoy the spaces, the art, and locally made work. It still amazes me." (Ideastream)
