  1. Many people let their car warm up for a few minutes before driving, but Captain Gary Stone with the Lakewood Police Department warns people not to leave their cars unattended. He also explained that leaving a car to warm up unattended is actually illegal in Lakewood and other Ohio cities. Captain Stone advises drivers to stay near their car, and do not leave your car unattended even in your driveway, especially this time of the year. (Spectrum News 1)
