  1. Lakewood police officers used a taser to stun a dog that was attacking its owner on Oct. 3. The owner, believed by police to be a homeless man, said, "Somebody stole my phone and I started fighting with him and my dog attacked me." The pit bull mix has been turned over to Cleveland Animal Control, which as of Friday has not answered requests for an update. (Cleveland 19)
