  1. According to the Lakewood Police Blotter, there have been multiple robberies and incidents in Lakewood from Nov. 23 to Dec. 1. On Nov. 28, a man was robbed of his phone, wallet, and vehicle at gunpoint on Detroit Extension. On Nov. 29, a package was stolen from a resident's porch on Lauderdale Avenue.   2. Shawn Rech and Chris Hansen have created TruBlu, a "factual streaming network" based in Cuyahoga County that produces and streams true crime documentaries, including exposing scam artists, predators, and megalomaniac womanizers for $4.99 a month. The TruBlu headquarters are in nearby Cleveland, where Rech wants it to become a "true crime incubator for aspiring Northeast Ohio filmmakers." Rech said, "We're trying to start a permanent media industry here in Cleveland. I'm talking permanent jobs, where people are on salaries with 401k's." (CleveScene.com)
  3. Due to the death of Cuyahoga County Jail inmate Edrick Brooks on Dec. 9, MetroHealth has placed two employees on unpaid leave. On Dec. 10, a spokesman for the hospital system said officials are conducting an internal review of the incident, but did not give further details. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
