Lakewood Public Library: Chromebooks And Printing

Chromebooks are available to all adult patrons whose library card is in good standing.

Lakewood Public Library offers Chromebook laptops at both the Main Library and the Madison Branch for patrons to checkout and use in the Library.

Chromebooks are available to all adult patrons whose library card is in good standing. Patrons who do not have a Lakewood Public Library card may get a one-time internet pass to use a Chromebook.

The Chromebook will checkout on a patron’s card for one hour (with the exception of the closing hour), however if no one is waiting to use a Chromebook, then the patron may keep it longer.

Patrons may print up to 25 pages for free each day with a charge of 10Β’ thereafter. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own flash drive, or they may purchase a flash drive at the front desk at the Main Library or Madison Branch for $2.00.

With our new Mobile Print Serviceβ„’, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library’s printers from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to release and pick up your document using your email address.

Email the document to the Reference desk at contact@lakewoodpubliclibrary.org or to the Madison Branch at madisonbranch@lakewoodpubliclibrary.org. A staff member will print your document and have it ready for you to pick up at the reference desk, the front desk or the drive -through window at the Main Library, or at the front desk at the Madison Branch.

Save your document to a flash drive and print it at one of the public copy machines at the Main Library or the Madison Branch.
