If there was a confirmed positive COVID test of a participant/instructor

 

Our protocol is to notify any close contacts and the positive case participant must do the following because they were exposed outside of school/recreation activities: Coaches please notigfy 

 

1.      If exposed outside of school

 

a.       Do not return to sport AND

b.      Test on day 5 after exposure

 

i.         If the test is positive must remain home 10 days from symptom onset or 10 days from the test if asymptomatic

 

c.       If test negative return to sport on day 8 following exposure

 

For all other participants who were exposed

 

1.      If exposed at school (rec activities included), must follow test to play

 

a.       Test on initial notification of exposure

i.        If they test negative and no symptoms, continue playing; mask when able. (This includes transportation, locker rooms, sitting/standing on sidelines, and anytime mask will not interfere with breathing, the activity or create safety hazard)

ii.      If test positive, return after 10-day isolation (10 days from symptom onset)

 

IF THE INITIAL TEST IS NEGATIVE MUST

 

b.      Test on days 5-7 AND.

i.        If negative continue playing; mask when able (This includes transportation, locker rooms, sitting/standing on sidelines, and anytime mask will not interfere with breathing, the activity or create safety hazard)

i.        If test positive, return after 10-day isolation (10 days from symptom onset)
