Here are the top three stories today in Lakewood:

1. Light Up Lakewood 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The holiday event is free to attend. There will be a holiday parade, a lighting ceremony, winter fireworks, and more. Click for the full event schedule. (Lakewood Observer)
2. Lakewood City Schools is planning to repair Hayes Elementary School's leaky roof. The district is currently searching for a vendor to complete the repairs. The repair project is expected to cost about $1.3 million. The district wants to repair the roof before additional infrastructure is damaged by the water leaks. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
3. A 47-year-old woman being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail has been pronounced dead. The individual was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center's emergency room after being found "in distress" in her cell on Tuesday morning. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office will be conducting an autopsy on Melissa Musson's body. It is unclear whether she was sick when she arrived at the jail. (WKSU)
