Man Overstays His Welcome at Motel

Criminal damaging
A man, who was living at the Days Inn was cited for criminal damaging after he broke out the front window at around 12:45 Oct. 23. The man was told he is no longer welcome at the motel, and could be arrested for trespassing if he returns.

A bicycle was reported stolen from the Madison Branch of the Lakewood Public Library at around 4 p.m. Oct. 19.
Breaking and entering

Copper pipes were reported stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 7 p.m. Oct. 19.
“Inappropriate things” at Kauffman Park?
Someone reported that people were under the pavilion at Kauffman Park doing “inappropriate things” at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19. However, when officers arrived, they just found two people sitting on a bench talking.
Obstructing official business
A man took off running from police from the Giant Eagle at around 10 p.m. Oct. 19. Police were unable to locate the man, but they found a bag of razors and vodka in his trail.
Grand theft
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 11800 block of Detroit Avenue at around 2 a.m. Oct. 20.
Political signs stolen
A resident in the 17100 block of Edgewater Drive told police that some stolen the political signs from her front yard Oct. 20.
