Man Stole Charity Collection From Gas Station, Ran Away

Man nabbed charity collection from gas station
Lakewood police are looking for the man who snatched a collection jar filled with loose coins and dollars off the counter of the Speedway Super America gas station at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 23.
The money from the jar would have gone to charity.

The thief ran north on Warren Road and escaped.
Anyone with information on either the theft or the thief is encouraged to call the Lakewood Police Department at 216-521-6773.

Egging cars
A resident called Lakewood Police on the evening of Feb. 20, saying the people were throwing eggs at cars in the area of Sloane and West Clifton.
Police searched the area but could not find the vandals.
Scrap thieves steal gutters, storm windows from house
Aluminum, gutters and storm windows were stolen from the backyard of a home in the 1400 block of Winton.
The theft was reported on Feb. 23.
Anyone who saw something suspicious in that neighborhood around then is encouraged to contact police.
